Ingredients:
- 1 cup of brewed coffee (strongly brewed)
- 1/2 cup of leave-in hair conditioner
- 2 tablespoons of coffee grounds
- 2 tablespoons of coconut oil
Instructions:
- Brew a cup of strong coffee and allow it to cool.
- Mix the cooled coffee, leave-in hair conditioner, coffee grounds, and coconut oil in a bowl until well combined.
- Apply the mixture to your hair, making sure to cover all of the gray hairs. Wear gloves to avoid staining your hands.
- Leave the mixture on your hair for 1-2 hours, depending on how dark you want the color to be.
- Rinse the coffee mixture out of your hair with warm water, then shampoo and condition as usual.
Note: This coffee mixture may not work as well for people with very light hair or for those with a lot of gray hair. Additionally, coffee can be drying to the hair, so it’s important to use a deep conditioning treatment after dyeing your hair with coffee.
